About Me

Hi, I’m Naomi and I run Little Pikl’s from our family home in Nately Scures, Hook. I work alongside my daughter Mia, who is my registered childminding assistant.

Little Pikl’s is a relaxed, home-from-home setting where children are welcomed into the rhythm of everyday family life. Working together allows us to offer plenty of individual attention, while giving us the flexibility to respond to the different ages and needs of the children in our care.

We have a large, secure garden, spend plenty of time outdoors and regularly venture out to local parks, groups and activities.

My Experience

I’m an Ofsted-registered childminder with over 18 years’ experience working with children.

My approach combines familiar routines with the flexibility to follow each child’s interests and stage of development. I favour learning through play, conversation and everyday experiences, with plenty of opportunities to be outdoors, explore our surroundings and discover new places.

I also offer drop-offs and collections from Hook Infant and Hook Junior School.

My Qualifications

I’m fully Ofsted registered and hold the relevant qualifications and training required to provide safe, professional childcare, including:

• Diploma in Home-Based Childcare
• Paediatric First Aid
• Safeguarding training
• Level 2 Food Hygiene
• Enhanced DBS check
• Full, clean driving licence

My Availability

My core hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm.

Earlier starts / later finishes may be available by prior arrangement.

My Fees

  • Childminding from £9.50 per hour

My standard day rate is £95 per day, covering 8:00am–5:30pm.

I accept Government-funded childcare for eligible families.
