I’m Simrat, a Master’s student in Economics and Data Science at the University of Kent with a passion for teaching and inspiring kids. I love creating fun, engaging lessons that help children enjoy learning and build confidence in themselves.
My Experience
Over the past few years, I’ve gained a wide range of experience working with children of different ages and backgrounds. I’ve been tutoring K–12 students for the last two years, helping them strengthen their understanding and confidence across subjects. Currently, I work virtually with high school students, where I focus on making lessons engaging and easy to follow, even in an online setting. Before that, I spent five years babysitting and also worked at a pre-school in Saudi Arabia, which taught me patience, creativity, and how to connect with kids on their level. These experiences have helped me develop a warm, adaptable approach to teaching and caring for children.
My Qualifications
I have a Bachelor’s in Economics and am currently studying for my Master’s in Economics and Data Science at the University of Kent. With two years of tutoring experience and a strong background in early childhood care, I bring both academic knowledge and hands-on experience to my teaching.
