About Me
I have two girls aged 8 and 7. My eldest has some special needs; diagnosed ADHD and suspected Autism. Their Mum and I are separated and live in separate homes.
Especially since their grandparents are finding it too tiring to still have both girls for, and I am seeing that my youngest could benefit from some more one on one time with each parent, their Mum and I are looking for childcare to help facilitate some rest time for us both as we continue to share childcare responsibilities.
My Requirements
I am looking for a childminder who would be able to take one of both of the girls for a sleepover on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
Very important:
- Training in or experience of ADHD and Autism.
- Body-positivity (we do not want our kids exposed to fat-phobic language or food shaming from a carer)
Preference for but not by any means mandatory:
- Love of baking
- Love of forest-school/outdoor activities
- Speaks Spanish
- Training in Non-Violent Communication
- Feels that humans are a part of nature
- Non-vegan
I am happy to drive up to 2 hours away.
