About Me

Welcome to Little Chestnuts Childminding based in Bar Hill, Cambs. Thank you for choosing my setting to care for and support your child.
I provide a warm, nurturing, home-from-home environment where children feel valued, safe, and confident to explore and learn. In my childminding setting, your child is at the heart of everything I plan and do. I get to know each child as an individual, what they enjoy, what they are curious about, and what skills
they are beginning to develop.

My Experience

I started childminding and opened my doors in February 2026, I am a mother of two, my son is 6 years old and my daughter is nearly 2.

My Qualifications

Level 3 Early Years qualification
Full DBS check
Paediatric First Aid certification
Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
Experience working within the EYFS framework
Commitment to safeguarding, children’s wellbeing, learning and development

My Fees

  • Childminding from £6.00 per hour

My private rate is £6.00 which includes all food, snacks, wipes and sunscreen.
I also offer funded hours for all age groups as well as tax free childcare.
