About Me
I come with the experience of managing an outdoor Forest School nursery for nursery aged children, as well as babies as young as 8 months in an indoor setting, and working with families and children to promote their emotional and physical wellbeing. I have an enhanced DBS and am on the update service. I am also a keen chef and enjoy cooking and other household tasks.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare for over 15 years; as well as being a mum for the past 18 years. I began as an Early Years practitioner, planning and delivering activities at an indoor setting, and then moving onto becoming the "room leader", responsible for the care and wellbeing of the youngest children. My experience in an outdoor setting has been the most rewarding and I am a great promoter of outdoor education, in all weathers.
My managers role means I am adept with applications such as Trello, Google Docs, Slack, and efficient in creating and maintaining Risk Assessments and Payroll etc.
