My Experience

I have over 10 years of experience working with children, giving me a wealth of knowledge and understanding of children’s individual needs, development and learning styles.

Throughout my experience, I have developed a genuine passion for creating positive, nurturing environments where children feel safe, confident and encouraged to explore. I understand that every child is unique, and I believe in providing opportunities that allow each child to develop at their own pace while being appropriately challenged and supported.

As a mother of two children myself, I also understand the importance of creating a setting where children feel cared for, valued and secure, while parents feel confident and reassured about the care their child receives.

My experience has taught me the importance of balancing structured learning with child-led play, giving children the opportunity to learn naturally through everyday experiences, creativity, exploration and fun. I am particularly passionate about supporting children in developing the confidence, independence and essential skills they need to become school-ready and excited for their next chapter.

My aim is to use my experience and knowledge to give every child in my care the best possible start, helping them build strong foundations for lifelong learning and development.

I am a qualified and registered childminder with @home Childcare, dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating home-from-home environment where children can learn, play, explore and thrive.

With over 10 years of experience working with and caring for children, I have developed a strong understanding of children’s individual personalities, needs and stages of development. I believe that every child is unique, and I love creating fun, meaningful experiences that allow children to learn naturally while building confidence, independence and a genuine love of learning.

I have completed all required checks and undertake ongoing training to ensure that the care and learning I provide reflects high standards of safeguarding, health, safety and early years practice.

My approach is all about finding that perfect balance between learning and play. From messy crafts and imaginative adventures to outdoor exploration, stories, sensory experiences and everyday learning opportunities, I want children to have fun while developing the skills and confidence they need for their next steps — including becoming school-ready.

As a mum myself, I understand how important it is to know that your child is being cared for by someone who is knowledgeable, trustworthy and genuinely passionate about what they do.

My aim is simple: to provide a place where little ones feel safe, loved, encouraged and excited to learn — because childhood should be filled with curiosity, laughter, messy hands, big imaginations and lots of happy memories.

My Availability

My Availability

At Once Upon a Tot Childcare, I offer a warm, consistent and nurturing environment for children aged 0–5 years, with availability for full-time childcare placements.

I understand that finding the right childcare arrangement is an important decision for families, particularly when balancing work, family life and other commitments. My aim is to provide children with a reliable routine and a welcoming home-from-home environment where they can feel secure, settled and confident.

My available spaces are offered on a full-time basis, allowing children to benefit from consistency, meaningful relationships and regular opportunities to develop socially, emotionally and educationally.

I also understand that some families require childcare beyond traditional working hours. Where possible, I am happy to discuss extended-hours arrangements to help accommodate individual family needs.
