About Me
I am a reliable individual who loves to lend a helping hand wherever needed. I have strong organisational skills and love following / creating a routine. I am patient and understanding towards children and offer empathy in difficult moments. I love exploring the outdoors and enjoy walking on the South West Coast Path on a regular basis. My other interests are volunteering, cooking / baking, reading and occasionally cold water swimming.
My Experience
I have 9+ years working with children in a variety of roles and across many ages. I have worked as a nanny in South Africa as well as a Teachers Assistant in a local pre school before emigrating to the United Kingdom. Here I have worked as a Session Lead and volunteered as an Assistant Cub Scout Leader and Outdoor Activity Instructor. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with children in all of these roles and have experience working with children who have special educational needs and or a learning disability.
