About Me
We are a family of three, and both my husband and I work full-time. We’re currently looking for a childminder for our 3-and-a-half-year-old son. We recently moved to the Kingsthorpe area and haven’t been able to find availability at nearby nurseries.
Our son has attended nursery since he was 11 months old, three days a week, and we’re hoping to find a similar arrangement now—ideally from Tuesday to Friday. This will be our first time working with a childminder, so we’re eager to learn more about how the process works and what to expect.
My Requirements
We are looking for reliable and nurturing childcare for our 3-and-a-half-year-old son. He has previous nursery experience and is used to a structured, engaging environment. Our ideal arrangement is with a registered childminder who can offer care Tuesday to Friday, during standard working hours.
We are seeking a childminder who can provide:
• A safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment
• Age-appropriate learning and play activities
• Support with social, emotional, and early development skills
• Healthy meals and snacks (if provided as part of the service)
• Outdoor play and opportunities to be active
• Clear communication about his day, progress, and any concerns
