My Experience

I have over four and a half years of childcare experience working in family homes, supporting babies, toddlers and school-aged children. My background includes everything from bottle feeding and bedtime routines to homework support and full-day care. I have practical first aid and CPR knowledge, as well as safeguarding awareness through training I completed in a community setting. I’m confident managing multiple ages, adapting to each child’s needs and creating a safe, positive atmosphere. My experience has taught me to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly with parents and build trusting, nurturing relationships with the children I look after.

My Qualifications

I spent 2 summers volunteering with the Formartine Youth project to run summer camps for children and through that received the Dynamic Youth Award. I also am food hygiene and nutrition certified, as well as keeping up to date with first aid training which I refresh online every year, and in person whenever I can.

My Availability

I offer flexible babysitting, including mornings, after school, evenings, weekends and overnight care. I can also take on last-minute bookings depending on my university schedule. I hold a full driving licence and have my own car, so I can travel easily and take children on outings when required. I’m open to both ongoing weekly positions and occasional or ad-hoc childcare.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £9.00 per hour

I charge a flat rate, no matter how many kids there are on that occasion (between 1-3 children and a separate flat rate for 4+ children). While I have a set fee of £9 per hour for 1-3 children, and £10 per hour for 4+, I am always open to discussions surrounding this.
