About Me
Hello! My name is Asia and I am a qualified primary school teacher with bounds of experience teaching children in the classroom and tutoring privately in the comfort of their own home. I am bubbly, enthusiastic and enjoy creating sparks when tutoring children. I have two sons, I come from a very big family and I was born and brought up in Bristol. I love to take walks, watch movies and read.
My Experience
I qualified as a primary school teacher 15 years ago and first started off a supply teaching as a class teacher across the primary age. I have experience teaching in different roles, from being a PPA cover teacher, a teacher of the Deaf, a teacher for children with English as an additional language, a booster teacher for year 6 to prepare them for their SAT's and a private tutor across key stage 1, 2 and 3. I have the confidence and experience teaching up to children aged 14. I am currently a teaching assistant in a primary school in year 5.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified primary school teacher, I completed my PGCE in 2008.
I have a BSc in Deaf Studies and have BSL stage 1 and 2.
I have 3 A-levels and 9 GCSE's.
My Availability
I am available to tutor evenings and weekend mornings.
