About Me
Hello, my name is Kathryn, I am a 27 year old mum of an 18 month old daughter. I am a private English Tutor. I aim to provide the perfect adaptation for every single student who needs an extra little help in their English studies.
My Experience
I have taught in mainstream and SEN provisions for the past 6 years, following the AQQ and OCR exam boards and the national curriculum. I have taught age ranges from 8-18.
I work with learners who present with a wide range of needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, processing difficulties, anxiety, school refusal, low confidence, and behavioural challenges. My tutoring style focuses on building trust, fostering emotional regulation, and developing academic skills through adaptive, creative, and differentiated instruction.
My Qualifications
I hold QTS and PGCE. I have a bachelor's degree in English Literature and English Language.
