My Requirements

We’re a friendly family in Orpington looking for a reliable, warm after-school nanny with household support to help us manage weekday afternoons with our two young children.

Children:
• 4-year-old (Tubbenden School)
• 2-year-old (local nursery, occasional pick-ups)

Hours:
• 2:30pm – 6:30pm, Monday to Friday

Role overview:

2:30pm – 4:30pm (household support):
• General cleaning and tidying of the home
• Preparing a family evening meal
• Day-to-day household tasks as needed (e.g. laundry when relevant)

From ~4:30pm (childcare):
• School and nursery pick-ups (10–15 min drive)
• Caring for the children at home: calm play, reading, simple activities
• Serving dinner and supervising until Mum or Dad return

This role suits someone who:
• Enjoys a mixed childcare + household support role
• Is organised, practical, and happy taking initiative
• Has experience with young children
• Holds a clean driving licence and has their own car

This is a long-term, consistent role with a kind, organised family. We value reliability and are happy to discuss expectations and pay openly to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone.
