About Me
I’m a friendly and reliable nanny returning to childcare after a few years in other types of work, having realised that childcare is what I love most. I enjoy supporting busy families and helping children feel happy and secure.
I’m currently completing a Level 3 childcare qualification and I’m particularly interested in early years development, so I’m looking for roles with babies and toddlers and build more hands-on experience. I’m calm, patient, organised, easy to communicate with, and I enjoy planning fun activities, outings and also helping to keep routines that make daily life run well.
I live close to good transport links in East London and can easily get across zones 1–3 in most directions. I have a (Dutch) driving licence, but no car, so I rely on public transport for my commute. I’m looking for live-out roles, but I’m open to weekday-only live-in if that’s more convenient.
Languages: Native Dutch, fluent English and conversational Spanish and German.
My Experience
I worked as a full time nanny in London for five years, providing sole-charge care for two children from ages 2 to 9. My responsibilities included:
- daily routines, school runs and outings
- creative and educational play
- reading, crafts and homework support
- preparing nutritional meals
- children’s laundry and organising clothing
- keeping the home tidy
- holiday cover, including long days and occasional overnight care during trips abroad
Before that, I've also done babysitting for a wider range of ages.
I’m especially interested in gaining more experience with babies and toddlers while completing my Level 3 childcare qualification.
My Qualifications
Current Paediatric First Aid (12 hour course completed), Enhanced DBS on the update service, Level 2 Common Core Skills and Knowledge (includes child development, communication, and safeguarding), also currently completing a NCFE accredited level 3 childcare qualification.
Willing to get OFSTED registered.
My Availability
I’m available for up to 50 hours per week and can often start on short notice.
Flexible in terms of schedule, happy to adjust to your needs. Open to both temporary and long-term roles, as well as babysitting.
