My Requirements

• Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:45pm
• Start date: September 2026
• Year-round role
• Care primarily for our youngest during the day
• Care for both children after school and whenever our eldest is not at school, including school holidays, inset days, or when unwell
• School pick-ups for our eldest
• Planning age-appropriate activities, outings and playdates
• Strong focus on outdoor play and creative, screen-free activities
• Preparing healthy snacks and meals for the children

When our youngest is napping or once she starts preschool, we would appreciate help with:
• Children’s laundry
• Light tidying of play areas
• Occasional family meal preparation

Please note that hours may adjust slightly once our youngest starts preschool. We expect to confirm this by April.

What we are looking for
• Registered nanny or registered childminder
• Experience caring for toddlers and school-aged children
• Ideally French- or Spanish-speaking, though not essential
• Warm, patient and organised
• Fully engaged with the children, with minimal use of smartphone during working hours and no screen use for children
• Aligned with gentle parenting values and an outdoor-focused approach
• Non-smoker
• Enhanced DBS, relevant qualifications and excellent references

We are also open to a nanny share with another local family, if the right arrangement arises.

Salary and benefits
• Indicative range: £14–17 per hour gross
• 28 days paid holiday per year including bank holidays, pro rata
• 3 additional paid days between Christmas and New Year
• Auto-enrolment pension provided
