About Me
Hello, my name is CJ and welcome to Baby Bear Childcare.
I previously worked in a private nursery; specialising in the care and development of under 3s. Although, I have worked with children of all ages and ranges of development.
I Live in Letchworth and I am the mother of a wonderful four year old son. I run a loving, nurturing, safe, stimulating and kind nursery. And I am looking for families to join in from February 2026.
My aim is to support confidence, independence, whimsy and kindness in all the children in my care.
The children have access to range of toys and learning tools to support their learning. The children also have access to the garden and garden room daily for activities and crafts.
Mindfulness with the aim of children learning to regulate their emotions is a part of daily life at my setting.
Outings to the farm, library, local parks, playgrounds and nature walks are regular staples to the children who attend my setting.
I priorities health, balanced nutritious meals to support growth, concentration and brain development.
Your child’s safety and overall wellbeing is paramount to me and I take all reasonable measures and precautions.

My Experience
I have trained,looked after and worked with children from newborn to 13 years of age.
Whilst working at a private nursery I was room leader it was my responsibility to plan and arrange activities in accordance to all the children’s ages and stages of learning. It was my role to ensure all observations took place and that they linked to the seven areas of a child’s development.
My Qualifications
I am pre-registered with Ofsted.
I completed a full DBS check.
I have:
- Level 2 Children and Young People’s Workforce
- Safeguarding children and Young people from county lines certificate
- Childhood Protection certificate
- Food Hygiene and Safety certificate
- Childhood Nutrition and Obesity Prevention certificate
- Fire Marshal certification
- Yoga Teacher training certificate ages 2-17
I have participated in many different training courses throughout my career covering a wide range of topics and I will continue to do so for my own professional development, to keep my knowledge up to date as much as possible and for my own interest.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
Full day session: £65
