My Experience
I am a qualified early years educator (level 3) and currently work in a nursery setting, where I am the preschool room leader. I work with children aged 3-5, taking care of their daily needs, providing stimulating and inviting activities and supporting their development through free choice play. I have 12 years worth of childcare experience with babies, toddlers and older children too. I have worked as a TA in primary school, within early years especially, but also across the primary school age group. I have experience with children with SEN and have SENCO qualifications in my day job. I am qualified in paediatric first aid. I have four children of my own, now grown up, and lots of neices and nephews. I have a current DBS certificate. I have completed the first year of a BA Honours in Education, but stopped this due to family circumstances. I have current safeguarding and child protection training, food safety, and allergy awareness training too, and currently support children with dietary needs.

I am available for weekend babysitting primarily, but would be happy to provide an evening service, 7pm onwards, which can be discussed. I am available daytimes over the Christmas week.
