My Experience

I have lots of hands-on childcare experience, both through babysitting for families and caring for my own 7 nieces and nephews from baby age up to teenagers. I’ve helped with meals, routines, bedtime, and keeping them happy, safe, and entertained. Two of my nieces/nephews are autistic and have learning difficulties, so I’m confident supporting children who may need extra patience, structure, or reassurance.
I also have professional experience working with adults with learning difficulties, where I supported 19 residents aged 18–65. This role taught me to stay calm, understanding, and adaptable, and it gave me valuable skills in communication, safeguarding, and supporting people with a wide range of needs.
Together, these experiences have helped me become patient, reliable, and comfortable caring for children of all personalities and abilities.

My Qualifications

First Aid trained
Epilepsy and Diabetes awareness training
Safeguarding training (children and vulnerable adults)
Additional care-related qualifications gained through working in a residential support setting
Strong understanding of supporting individuals with autism and learning difficulties
Confident with routines, safety, and providing calm, reliable care
Excellent communication, patience, and problem-solving skills

My Availability

I’m available for childcare throughout the day and some evenings during the week. I’m also happy to offer weekend babysitting when needed. My schedule is flexible, and I’m able to adjust my hours to suit your family’s needs.
