The kind of Childcare every parent hopes to find.

I honestly don’t think I could put into words how grateful I am to Princess and the setting for everything they have done for my daughter.

My daughter started when she was just 12 months old, which was such a big step for us. As a mum, leaving your baby in someone else’s care for the first time can feel very emotional and worrying, but the settling-in week was so gentle and comfortable. Princess made sure my daughter felt safe, happy and loved, and that gave me the reassurance I needed.

Princess has genuinely played such a special role in my daughter’s life and development. What makes her stand out is that her care feels completely genuine. You can see the love, patience and kindness she has towards the children. It isn’t just about looking after them — she really gets to know them, encourages them and celebrates their little milestones.

One moment that will always stay with me is watching my daughter learn to walk. Princess supported and encouraged her throughout that stage, helping her build the confidence to take those steps independently. Seeing my daughter become such a confident little walker with Princess’s encouragement was incredibly special for me as her mum.

There is also so much joy in the setting. Princess plays music for the children and encourages them to dance and express themselves, creating an environment where they feel comfortable being themselves. There are arts and crafts, forest play and so many different activities that allow the children to explore, learn and develop their independence.

And the artwork! My daughter has come home so proud of the things she has made — from her jellyfish to her rainbow — and she is always so excited to show me. There is something really special about seeing a little piece of artwork your child has created themselves and knowing they have been encouraged to be creative and independent.

The food deserves a special mention too. The lunches honestly look like gourmet meals! They are healthy, nutritious and freshly made from scratch, and my daughter has enjoyed every single dish. Knowing she is being given such lovely, wholesome meals while she is there gives me another level of reassurance.

The setting is also incredibly clean and hygienic, which is especially important when caring for babies and young children.

Princess’s communication has always been gentle, caring and reassuring. As a parent, knowing that you can communicate openly and be kept reassured makes such a difference. I have never felt like my daughter is simply “at childcare” — I feel like she is somewhere where she is genuinely known, cared for and encouraged.

Looking back at how much my daughter has grown since she started at just 12 months old makes me emotional. She has developed her confidence, independence, creativity and physical skills, and Princess has been such an important part of that journey.

I will always be grateful that my daughter had Princess during such an important stage of her early life. She has given her so much encouragement, love and confidence, and as a mum, that means more to me than I can say.
