28 year old nanny and babysitter based in SE London. Fun, playful, and responsible.
I'm a musician and songwriter, and believe creativity, art, and music are wonderful and healthy ways for us to discover, explore, and express our emotions. I sing and play piano, drums, and percussion, and I can encourage your child to express themselves through music.
I also love the outdoors - I love solo travelling and hiking, and rock climbing, and can take your children to the park or the woods to play.
My Experience
I have done volunteering in schools. One was in Nepal in a Summer School, where for one week I and another volunteer taught a class of 11 6-9 year olds and provided fun activities, such as drawing and crafts, and entertained with magic tricks. The school days lasted from 11am-4pm and included a lunch break, were I sometimes supervised and played with the children too.
I have also assisted with nannying for a family a friend of mine nanny's for, facilitating creative sessions and after school care, where we pick the son and daughter up from school (aged 9 and 4 respectively) and take them to the park to play, before taking them home.
Additionally, I sometimes help to care for my friend's 2-month-old infant.
My Qualifications
2.1 BSc in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics from Brunel University London.
My Availability
I have a zero hour contract at the Barbican Centre Art Gallery, so I am very flexible. I intend to do 1-2 days there a week in addition to nannying.
I also like to keep 4-5 evenings (from 6:30pm onwards) of my week free.
