About Me
I am a 28 year old nursery teaching assistant living and working in SE London. I am cheerful and playful, and can be both an energetic or a calming presence. I bring myself onto a child's level whilst maintaining professional boundaries, and can put my foot down when I have to.
Childhood is a tender time, and it is the time in a person’s life when they do the most learning. I am passionate about facilitating and encouraging this learning through socialising and creative play, whether that be talking about school, reading a book, playing chase or hide and seek, or playing music together.
Outside of work, I am a singer-songwriter, and perform piano and drums in a few local bands. I am also enthusiastic about the outdoors, and enjoy long countryside walks and rock climbing. I can take your children walking or climbing, or we can play inside and have music jam sessions.
My Experience
I currently work full-time at a nursery with children aged 2-5, and have worked lunchtime cover and TA shifts in primary schools, supervising, facilitating creative play and social skills, and providing emotional support and routine. I am experienced with SEN, and am confident supporting autistic and non-verbal children.
I have also spent a week volunteering as a teacher in a Summer School for 6-10 year olds, and assisted a friend with nannying two 4-year-olds.

- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
