My Summary

My Experience

I have extensive education experience having also worked within the education sector in a primary school following the EYFS curriculum.

I have experience working with premature babies, newborns, breastfed babies and children up to 17 years old.

I have in-depth knowledge and experience working clinically with children with additional needs and am comfortable managing children with complex medical needs, medication and equipment.

As well as a home-from-home childcare setting, your child/ren will benefit from out of home activities such as Forest School, various playgroups, sign language, softplay, outside activities, baking and other cooking related activities.

I am a gymnastics coach and appreciate learning to use our bodies safely. Your children will learn how to complete beginner, age appropriate gymnastics skills.

It’s important for us, as a race, to be able to communicate with everyone we meet. I will be teaching children BSL (British Sign Language) to successfully communicate with those hard of hearing, alongside those with additional needs who use sign language as a communication tool.

My Availability

My model of childcare is flexibility and to facilitate shift workers shifts, as these are often difficult to manage with wraparound care.

Please reach out if you’re looking for something specific. I am happy to honour specific contracts for families to suit yours, and your children’s needs.

I also cover adhoc babysitting and emergency childcare requests.

Due to the nature of my nursing experience, I am able to facilitate medically complex children for babysitting only, this is at a rate of £25 per hour.

Children who stay for a full shift day will be offered breakfast and dinner, lunch should be provided by parents. Please see cost details for any extras.

My services are charged at a full day rate for 9-5, hourly fees are only for outside of this. Children’s places will be allocated in full days initially but hours can be increased for flexibility should this be required.

Funding hours offered on a 10 hour day as a maximum allowance, governed by HMRC guidance.

Invoices will be issued, these will include consumable fees which will include, and not limited to: food options, snacks, admission prices, special events, parties, groups and anything else of benefit to the children and their learning needs. This is charged at £10 per day, and is payable regardless of funding options.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Childminding from £7.50 per hour

FUNDED HOURS:
Monday-Friday 9-5

SHIFT WORKING:
•Hours before, or after my funded hours will be charged at an additional rate.
•Hours earlier than 8am and later than 6pm are charged at an unsociable hours rate (to be discussed).
•Overnight and weekend hours are charged at an unsociable hours rate (to be discussed).
