About Me

Hi, I’m Kate
I’m a friendly, caring, and passionate childcare professional with a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, and I’m currently completing my Level 3 SENCO course.

I’ve spent the last four years working in a preschool setting, where I’ve gained lots of hands-on experience supporting children with a wide range of Special Educational Needs, including in my role as Deputy SENCO. I absolutely love working with children and supporting them to grow, learn, and feel confident in themselves.

I’m confident in creating safe, fun, and engaging environments tailored to each child’s age and individual needs. I’m nurturing, patient, and reliable, and I always put children’s wellbeing and development first.

I’m now really excited to bring my skills, experience, and warm approach into a nannying role, where I can build strong relationships with children and families and support little ones to thrive .

My Experience

With four years of experience working in a preschool setting, I have developed strong skills in supporting children’s learning, wellbeing, and individual needs. As Deputy SENCO, I have worked closely with children who have a range of Special Educational Needs, and I am currently completing my Level 3 SENCO qualification to build my knowledge further. I have also completed Autism training and TPP training, which has helped me understand effective ways to support children with additional needs. Alongside my professional experience, I have been babysitting since I was 16, giving me many years of experience caring for children of different ages in home environments. These experiences have helped me become a patient, nurturing practitioner who is dedicated to providing high-quality care.
