About Us
Blackdown Preschool is a warm and welcoming early years setting based in Deepcut, within Mindenhurst — a new village taking shape in the heart of Surrey. Recently refreshed and thoughtfully updated, our preschool is inspired by the surrounding woodlands and the natural beauty of our community.
We welcome children from 12 months to 5 years and — from January 2026 — will offer care 51 weeks of the year, providing flexible, consistent support for families.
We embrace nature-based learning, using sustainable materials and open-ended resources to spark curiosity, creativity, and meaningful play both indoors and outdoors. Our nurturing environment is designed to help every child feel safe, confident, and valued.
Working in close partnership with families, we support each child to thrive, fostering independence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.

We accept a variety of funding options to support families, including the government’s free childcare for working parents, 15-hour and 30-hour funded childcare, as well as the Government Tax-Free Childcare scheme and employer childcare vouchers.
Our Availability
Our Fees
- Childcare from £42.25 per day
- Childcare from £330.75 per week
- Childcare from £1,323.00 per month
A one-off £100 registration fee applies.
£50 is payable on registration, with the remaining £50 due when your child starts.
This covers registration, induction, and settling-in arrangements.
Session rate for unfunded hours (including early drop off) is:
Children aged 12 - 24 months = £12.80 per hour
24 months and 1 day = £9.00 per hour
Children aged 36 months plus = £6.75 per hour
Our fees are reviewed annually and are subject to change
Fees are invoiced monthly and payable in advance.
Government funding for 9 months to 4 years are accepted
We offer:
Full day sessions: 8am - 6pm
School day sessions 9am-3pm
Minimum sessions: 1 (day)
