About Me
My name is Amina, and I have been working with young children for over 20 years. I have worked in private nurseries and various school settings (mainly EYFS). I also have a 5 years old daughter of my own.
As a professional educator and childminder, I strongly believe in a child centred approach whereas each child is being valued and nurtured as a unique individual. I aim to provide a warm, safe, and stimulating environment where your child(ren) will be engaged and encouraged to learn through play; develop their curiosity and imagination; and be independent and confident while receiving the full attention that they deserve.
As a parent myself, I also perfectly understand the importance of communication coming from a care setting. This is why I will always be open and honest with you, so we can work in partnership together to fully ensure your child(ren) positive development and wellbeing.
My Experience
I am a mother of a 5 years old daughter. I also have more than 20 years professional experience working with children. I am not only a qualified Nursery Nurse but, also, have gained an extensive experience as a Teaching Assistant in various EYFS settings. My professional background also includes several years working 1:1 with children with SEND.

I cannot recommend Amina highly enough. We come from a country where childcare maintains exceptionally high standards, and from day one, I felt complete peace of mind knowing my child was in her safe, caring hands.
What stands out most is that Amina has genuinely mastered those high standards. She's not just supervising—she's truly present with the children, mindful of their individual needs, and creates an environment where each child feels valued and secure.
The quality of her care is exceptional. She's always prepared with engaging activities that stimulate learning and creativity. Whether it's structured projects, outdoor play, or learning through everyday moments, she keeps the children stimulated and happy. My child comes home excited to share what they did that day.
Her caring approach means she takes time to understand each child's personality and preferences. She's patient, attentive, and genuinely interested in their development. I've noticed real progress in my child's confidence and happiness under her care.
Reliability and communication are never an issue. She's professional, proactive, and maintains the high standards I'm familiar with from home.
If you're looking for a childminder, I'd have no hesitation recommending Amina. She's made returning to work possible for me because I know my child is genuinely well cared for and thriving—by the very highest standards.
