About Me

Hi, I’m Sarah. I’m a qualified primary teacher and have taught across all key stages, including the Early Years. My career journey has steered into childminding due to my passion for a more holistic, nurturing approach towards early years education and care. I offer a safe, warm, homely, high quality setting, where play opportunities are driven by exploration, curiosity and fun! I follow the children’s interests and embed the Early Years Framework within them.
At the setting, there is not only a dedicated, well-equipped playroom for the children, but outside there is a very large mud kitchen, and play equipment to explore. The outdoors is my favourite place to be, enjoying going on listening walks through the woods, rock collecting at the beach, and puddle jumping wherever possible!
I live within walking distance of the zoo, parks, the boating lake, and the sports centre.

My husband and I have four children, ranging from 24- 10 years of age (the eldest two have ‘flown the nest’). I have two lovely, friendly dogs, Ben and Kobi.
