About Me
We're a family looking for an occasional babysitter to help give us some much needed time to recharge and reconnect as new parents. Our daughter is 16 months old, and isn't yet talking (She's trying very hard though!), but is full of energy. She can be a bit cautious at first with new people, but once she warms up she's playful, curious and very sweet.
We're hoping to find someone patient, confident and experienced with energetic children who may take a little time to settle. Someone who can be gentle, calm in their approach and who can build trust through consistent, reassuring actions.
My Requirements
We need occasional childcare. Mainly the odd evening for a short period or weekend for a handful of hours (2-5 hours). We need some reliable, safety-minded and genuinely comfortable with high energy little ones.
Ideally someone with experience dealing with babies who can be slow to warm up to new people, and are open to a trial session (paid) while we're home to give our daughter a chance to get to know you.
