Outstanding, nurturing care

We honestly couldn’t be happier with the incredible care Kathryn and Byron provide. From the very beginning, their ridiculous amount of experience and knowledge — they are truly overqualified in the best possible way — helped us feel completely at ease. We know every day that our little girl is in the safest, kindest hands.

What stands out most is how genuinely they nurture her. They don’t just look after children; they understand them. They totally “get her” — her quirks, her joys, what makes her tick — and this means the world to us. There is such comfort in knowing she spends her days with people who know her so well and value who she is.

Their ratios are exceptional, completely unheard of, and it shows. Every child receives thoughtful, personalised, almost specialist-level attention. Communication is excellent too — we adore the regular updates and photos throughout the day, which give us such reassurance and joy.

Every single day is made the most of. There’s no coasting: she is out playing in the park, visiting farms and libraries, exploring new activities or enjoying wonderful seasonal crafts. Their son is also a delight — kind, gentle, and such a lovely role model for the younger children.

The homemade hot meals are another huge bonus (our daughter is a particular fan of the porridge!). It’s these thoughtful details, big and small, that make their setting feel so special.

Overall, we couldn’t be happier. Kathryn and Byron go above and beyond in every way, and we feel incredibly lucky to have them caring for our daughter. We recommend them wholeheartedly.
