My Summary

My Experience

I am currently in my second year training at Norland college studying a degree in BA (Hons) Early Childhood Education and Care & Norland diploma. During my time at Norland so far I have been on four placements. My first and second one being in settings one of which was in a toddler room with 2-3 year olds which involved carrying out activities with the children and reading to them. My second was in a year 3 (ages 7-8) classroom which involved helping children with spellings and homework whist also playing with them during break times. My third placement was a family placement where I helped with the day to day and personal care for a one year old girl, this involved bottle making, cooking, laundry, nappies and playing with her whilst also supporting her development. My most recent placement was a live in in London where I was caring for 2 boys one 7 months and the other 2.5. This involved all aspects of childcare from bottle making, weaning, cooking, laundry, planning activities, putting him down for naps. Outside of Norland I have done lots of other childcare and babysitting, I have been looking after a boy and a girl for 4 years now which involves cooking for them, day to day childcare duties, driving them to school, bed time routines and administering medicine.

First Aid Trained

My Availability

I would be happy to help in the morning before school, afternoons after school and evenings. However during weekdays I am unavailable during the day as I have to go to university.
