My Experience
I have hands on experience caring for children of all ages, from newborns to preteens, including those with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, anxiety, developmental delays and complex trauma.
I have been the primary support and nominated carer for foster children, providing day to day care, emotional support, and supervision tailored to each child’s individual needs and care plans.
I am experienced in maintaining safe and nurturing environments, managing daily routines such as school runs, meals, bedtime, and recreational activities, as well as supporting children with education, homework, and personal development.
I handle challenging behaviours with patience and effective strategies, always prioritising safety and wellbeing.
Additionally, as a parent to my own 3 year old, I bring personal experience caring for a child with additional needs, giving me practical insight, experience and empathy for families seeking support.
