About Us

Our setting was founded in 1952, making it among the longest established in Hampshire. We are based in a parish hall in the beautiful semi-rural area of St Cross in Winchester. We benefit from the proximity of the Water Meadows and the Hospital of St Cross, providing us with many opportunities for picturesque and educational walks/outings all year round. Our ethos is very much based on learning through play, with a wide range of learning resources available

We have consistently received Good inspection reports and pride ourselves on our flexible, compassionate approach to providing children and parents with an enjoyable experience of early years care. We have good relationships with schools in our area and encourage communication when a child is due to progress to the next phase of their education.

We are open from 9am to 1.30pm each weekday (1pm on Thursdays) during term time.
