I am a new mother to Noah, who is currently 5 months old. I am looking for a reliable and experienced babysitter to care for Noah in our home for 2 days a week. The hours will gradually increase starting in March.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience caring for babies and should be Ofsted registered. I’m looking for someone who can provide safe, nurturing, and age-appropriate care for Noah during these hours.
My Requirements
I am looking for a reliable and punctual babysitter for my 6-month-old baby, Noah. As Noah does not watch television, the ideal caregiver should be someone who is engaging and can provide interactive play, comfort, and stimulation throughout the day. Below are some key expectations:
Punctuality: The babysitter must be on time and consistent with scheduled hours.
Engagement: Since Noah is very young and doesn't watch TV, it’s important that the sitter can offer age-appropriate activities such as playing, singing, reading, or sensory stimulation.
Safety & Comfort: The caregiver should be attentive to Noah’s safety, comfort, and well-being at all times. This includes following proper baby care protocols such as handling, feeding, and diaper changing when needed.
Feeding & Napping: Noah’s feeding and napping schedule should be adhered to carefully. The sitter should be prepared to feed Noah, whether breastfed or bottle-fed, and assist with putting him down for naps.
Light Housekeeping: Some basic housekeeping related to Noah’s care, such as washing his bottles or cleaning up after meals, would be appreciated.
Flexibility: The sitter should be able to adjust to Noah's needs, whether it's a change in his mood, routine, or feeding preferences.
Experience: Previous experience with infants is preferred. Comfort with soothing techniques and knowledge of infant care practices will be essential.
