Hey! My name is Maria, I’m 23 years old and live in Ashford. I am a responsible, caring, and patient person who understands the importance of clear communication, trust, and maintaining routines. I love encouraging children’s creativity and confidence, and I always aim to make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and well looked after when in my care. I will be available to pick the children up from school as well as take them to any activities they might need. I can cook them dinner and get them ready for bed. I have experience in tutoring the children and helping out with homework. I love reading, and would love to encourage the children reading before bed.
My Experience
I recently graduated from the University of Winchester where I studied Primary Education for three years, gaining three years of experience teaching every age group. I am passionate about working with children and have also spent a summer in the United States teaching tennis at an American summer camp. It was so much fun and I loved creating a fun, safe and supportive living environment for the children.
My Qualifications
I have a QTS (qualified teacher status) as well as first aid training (certified).
My Availability
I am flexible, however I do also work at Tescos part time so would need the schedule a week in advance if possible. I can also do last minute baby sitting, but would depends on the shifts at Tescos on whether I’d be free! Sorry! But I would always try and make it work :)
