Full Time Nanny Job in Cottingham
About Me
We are a professional family based in Cottingham looking for a caring, reliable and experienced nanny for our daughter, who will be 20 months old when the role starts in August.
We are looking for someone warm, trustworthy and engaging who enjoys supporting children’s development through play, reading, outdoor activities and creative learning. We value kindness, good communication and reliability, and hope to find someone who will become an important part of our daughter’s routine.
PAYE employment, pension and payroll arrangements are already in place.
My Requirements
We are looking for childcare for our daughter from August 2026.
Hours are flexible and variable depending on work schedules, usually around 20–25 hours per week, with occasional higher weeks. Most shifts are daytime childcare, typically around 10 hours and sometimes up to 13 hours. Occasional evening, weekend and overnight shifts may be available by agreement.
The role will mainly involve caring for our daughter, planning age-appropriate activities, reading, play, outings to local parks, libraries and playgroups, preparing simple meals and supporting her daily routine.
Previous experience with toddlers, references, DBS and paediatric first aid are desirable.
