About Me
I am a childminding assistant working with Caroline Rouse, who has been a registered childminder for 18 years. Together we provide a warm, safe and homely environment where children can learn, play and feel supported.
I currently have 4 spaces available and take children who need childcare 2 or more days per week. I also don’t do school runs, so all care is provided on-site. We have a friendly cat called Ozzy who is used to being around children.

My Experience
While I am new to working as a qualified childminding assistant, I have plenty of hands-on experience supporting children. I previously volunteered helping out with childminding, gaining confidence in planning activities, helping with routines and creating a safe, positive environment. I also help with Rainbows Girlguiding, where I support young children through play, crafts and group activities.
Alongside this, I have strong caring experience from my time working as a qualified Healthcare Assistant in a hospital, where I developed excellent communication, patience and responsibility — all skills that I bring into my childcare role.
My Qualifications
I am approved by Ofsted to work as a childminding assistant. I am also committed to ongoing training and developing my skills within childcare.
