I’m a calm, patient and reliable person who genuinely enjoys being around children. I try to make things safe, relaxed and fun, whether that’s helping with homework, playing games or keeping to their usual routines. I’m happy to cook simple meals, help with bedtime and do small household tasks. I always follow whatever works best for the family and make sure the kids feel comfortable and looked after.
My Experience
I don’t have professional nanny experience yet, but I’ve spent a lot of time looking after my younger brother and helping with childcare for other family members. Through that, I’ve gotten used to things like helping with meals, keeping kids entertained, and sticking to routines. I also did a week of work experience in nursing, which I really enjoyed and which taught me to stay calm, organised and patient when supporting others. These experiences have made me confident working with children and comfortable taking responsibility when needed.
My Qualifications
I have GCSEs and A-Levels, and I’m currently studying for a degree in International Relations. While my studies aren’t childcare-specific, they’ve helped me build strong communication, organisation and responsibility skills, which I bring into babysitting.
My Availability
I’m very flexible and available most days and times. I can easily work around different schedules as long as the role is part-time. I’m happy to discuss specific hours and adjust to what suits your family best.
