My Requirements

We are currently seeking an Ofsted-registered childminder based in Wolverhampton (ideally in or around the Bilston area) to care for our son, who is 1 year and 5 months old.

Start Date: Monday 19 January
We would like to arrange introductory settling-in sessions beforehand (2–4 hours on Mondays and/or Tuesdays) to help Genesis adjust comfortably to being in a new environment.

Required Schedule:
- Monday: 08:30 – 18:00 (regular)
- Tuesday: 08:30 – 18:00 (regular)
- Wednesday: Flexible week-by-week (may vary between half day, full day, or not required)
- Thursday–Friday: Ad-hoc only if needed (not part of the core schedule)

Registration & Funding:
- Childminder must be registered with the local council and Ofsted registered

Care Environment & Values:
- We are looking for a childminder who:
- Encourages outdoor play and active learning
- Keeps screen time very limited
- Provides a range of healthy meals and snacks
- Shares regular updates and/or photos throughout the day
- Uses a child-led or Montessori-inspired approach, where possible

We would appreciate clear information on:
- Pricing structure (hourly/daily rates)
- What is included in the cost (meals, outings, resources, etc.)
- Any additional fees
- Payment arrangements (e.g. in advance, invoiced, per session or monthly)
