About Me
From Cape Town in South Africa, I am looking to take care of children in London during my gap year. I am a citizen of the United Kingdom and have a South African drivers license. I am incredibly active, energetic, passionate, driven, sporty and co-operative, and I have been looking after children my entire life (coming from a huge family with many younger cousins). I have also been babysitting many weekends for entire days and nights for the past two years, which has taught me the ins-and-outs of childcare.
My Experience
Coming from a big family with many younger cousins, I have grown up with babies in my hands (protecting them from the pool) while multitasking that with playing with toddlers (specifically my triplet cousins…). On top of that, in the past two years, I have formalized this child caring part of me by babysitting children in my area, from entire days to late nights. I have served in my church’s crèche for the past year, which has taught me playtime endurance!
My Qualifications
I have no formal childcare qualifications other than having been a babysitter for the past two years which is the most I could’ve done whilst juggling high school on my other hand. Regardless, I am often described by my loved ones as responsible, mature and incredibly independent and self-sufficient.
My Availability
I am available from 10 January 2026 up until May 2026, due to the fact that I am visiting the United States in the middle of the year. I can come back after that excursion if wanted, but I am also trying to maximize the amount of adventure and travel that I can get out of this year! I am hoping to find a live-in role and will always be there when absolutely needed (if I am not supposed to be working that day).

My Fees
