Hello, I am Emily. I'm a 28-year-old teacher from Lincoln, offering tutoring sessions and babysitting. I love creating a safe, nurturing space for children to thrive and flourish and I strive to have a positive impact on children's journeys by adopting the growth mindset approach. Outside of teaching, my passions include reading, being active (either in the gym or outdoors) and exploring new places whilst travelling.
My Experience
I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with 6 years of teaching experience and over 4 years in customer service/hospitality. The majority of my teaching experience has been in Key Stage 2, with some Key Stage 1 experience, and for the last three years, I have been the subject lead in Computing. I am knowledgeable in strategies to support children with varying SEND, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, global developmental delay, epilepsy, selective mutism, speech delay, physical tics, sight/hearing impairments and diabetes. Additionally, I have had training in trauma-informed practice and the relational approach.
Since October 2022, I have worked with children aged 2-17 on P&O Cruise Ships, so I am confident in entertaining children in a safe environment, ensuring that they thrive amongst others allowing them to create joyful family memories.
My Qualifications
PGCE Primary 5-11 with Qualified Teacher Status
BA (Hons) Education Studies - First Class Honours
Paediatric First Aid Qualified and have had anaphylaxis training, so I am comfortable with administering EpiPens if necessary.
I have completed multiple safeguarding courses over the years, most recently in November 2026.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £25.00 per hour
Babysitting: £15/h until 9pm. £20/h past 9pm/overnight.
Private Tutor rates: £25/h.
Tutoring rates may increase depending on travel distance. However, I am happy to offer virtual tutoring sessions if this works better.
