My Experience

I have experience working in primary school after-school clubs and nursery environments, including supporting children with additional needs and special educational needs. Alongside my practical experience, I have gained valuable knowledge and understanding through my personal experience as a young carer for my autistic brother, who has an intellectual disability. This has helped me develop patience, empathy, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt support to suit individual needs.

My Qualifications

While I do not currently hold formal childcare qualifications, I have developed practical childcare skills through my work experience and caring responsibilities. I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and encouraging environment where children feel supported, included, and able to thrive. As i’m working in childcare i am registered with the sssc and pvg checked
