Hi! My names Nikki, I am local to Montgomery Park and love the baby and toddler stage, so I’m offering a chilled, friendly babysitting/child-minding service for families looking for a bit of extra support before their little one heads off to school or nursery.
I’ll usually be out and about with my own 1yo+ boy, so my plan is to take the children along to playgroups, classes and fun local outings together.

My Experience
I've worked in a nursery for over four years, and I'm a mum to two wee ones of my own—a lively (almost) 5-year-old girl and a happy 18-month-old boy—so life is always busy and full!
At the moment, I also look after one regular child who joins us. We spend our days playing, exploring, getting outdoors, doing crafts, reading stories, and enjoying lots of opportunities to learn through play. I also like to involve the children in everyday activities, such as helping to prepare snacks, watering the plants, tidying up toys or baking together. I think these little moments help children build confidence, independence, and practical life skills while making them feel like a valued part of the day.
I aim to create a warm, relaxed, home-from-home environment where every child feels happy, safe and included.
My Qualifications
SVQ3 Childcare + Social 78iwork
PVG + SSSC registered
Emergency Paediatric First Aid (EPFA) Trained
Fashion technology (I used to work in textiles before)
My Availability
I’m fairly flexible! Ideally, I’d love to set up a recurring schedule with a family I really click with — supporting you through that in-between stage before nursery or school life begins.
I’m also happy to help on an ad-hoc basis once your little one and I have built up a relationship.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
If we decide on a regular arrangement, I’m more than happy to chat through and agree on something that works well for both of us.
