About Me
Hello! My name is Afina, a recent graduate from a European school, which taught me the importance of cultures and languages. I am 19 years old, young I know, but I have been taking care of children for a while, and I find a large sense of responsibility for such a task. My goal is always to make sure that I hold a figure of authority but to make sure the children can learn with me and from me, whilst keeping it fun. I believe in making a safe and friendly environment for child whilst teaching them about responsibility and independence. Despite my age, I have work numerous jobs, graduated from school with a good mark, and one of the great things I take pride in myself is my organization and strong will. I will disclose I do not currently have a driving license, but I am working on it. My main reason into going for this job is to gain more experience and also be able to earn money to fund myself for university! My Experience
My experience with children has been wide through out my life, taking care of neighbors children, relatives young children. My last job taking care of a child was from 2024 summer till 2025 spring. The child was 10 years old when I first started taking care of him. I stayed with him for usually from 4 up to 8 hours, and there were multiple occasions I stayed with him for a couple nights. He is Slovakian - Italian, he spoke English so that was good for our communication. I helped him regularly with his homework, as we both attended the same school, and i was understanding of how hard it is to move to a new country and start learning completely different things than he was used to. We did numerous activities and I also cooked for him, took him to school etc. I stopped taking care of him as my obligations laid towards my leaving exams
