My Experience

As a Teaching Assistant, I support children with a range of needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), using patience, structure and clear communication. I have experience assisting with learning activities, behaviour support, personal care routines and emotional regulation. I am confident working 1:1 or with small groups and tailoring support to each child’s needs.

My Qualifications

completed key training through my role as a Teaching Assistant, including Safeguarding and Child Protection, SEN awareness, and behaviour support strategies. I hold an enhanced DBS and I am registered on the Update Service.

I am also currently studying an Access to Primary Education course, which is helping me develop my knowledge of child development, learning support, and the role of educators. I am committed to continuing my training and gaining further childcare and education qualifications.

My Availability

I am available on weekdays after 3:30–4:00pm depending on the location, as well as weekends if needed. As I work in a school, my hours during term time are afternoons and evenings, with increased availability during school holidays. I hold a full driving licence and can travel locally. I am happy to discuss flexible arrangements to suit your family’s schedule.
