About Me

Hi there,

I’m a mum of two boys and have several years of hands-on childcare experience both as a parent and a professional. My eldest is 4 and now attends Dogmersfield Primary School, and my youngest has just turned 2. They are both very social, outgoing little characters, and family life is completed by my husband and our gentle, friendly dog, Milo.

For the past three years I’ve been a full-time mum, having chosen to take redundancy from my previous role as a Diabetes Brand Manager. This time has been incredibly rewarding and has reinforced my lifelong love of caring for children. Supporting my boys through their early years has been a real privilege and has inspired me to pursue childcare professionally, alongside family life.

I am currently awaiting my OFSTED inspection to become a registered childminder. While this process is underway, I am available for babysitting or ad hoc childcare based from your home and in reality I’m someone that would aim to get out and about with your little one more than spend time at home.

My approach to childcare is centred around learning through play, getting out and about to explore, and enjoying creative activities such as crafting and baking. I place strong importance on nurturing kindness, respect and inclusivity, and I care for every child as I would my own — with patience, warmth and encouragement.

I hold a full enhanced DBS check, paediatric first aid certification, food safety and hygiene level 2, safeguarding training, a Level 2 childcare qualification, and a full UK driving licence.

I hope to be set up as a childminder from June 2026.
