About Me
Hello, my name is Millie, and I am 22 years old. I grew up in Basingstoke and have been living in Reading with my partner for the past year.
I currently work full-time at a nursery in Sonning Common and am looking for opportunities to supplement my income alongside my existing role.
I hold a full UK driving licence, have access to my own vehicle, and am happy to commute for the right opportunity.
I am reliable, hardworking, and passionate about supporting children’s development, while also being open to a variety of flexible roles that fit around my current commitments.
My Experience
I have worked in a nursery setting since February 2025, mainly with children aged 2–3 years. I have thoroughly enjoyed supporting this age group as they develop their independence, communication skills, and confidence through play and exploration.
Prior to this, I have 5 years of experience working with children and young people aged 5 to 17 years. During this time, I have supported both children and adults with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a variety of roles and environments.
Working with children is something I genuinely enjoy. I am passionate about helping them grow in confidence, develop new skills, and thrive in a supportive environment. I take pride in building positive relationships and providing care that meets each individual’s unique needs.
My Qualifications
* GCSEs: Mathematics, English, Science, Physical Education, and Health & Social Care
* Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care
* Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism
* Currently working towards a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education
*Paediatric first aid trained

£15.00 per hour for 2 children
£20 per hour for 3+ children

Our two boys, 5 and 2, love Millie! She’s been babysitting them since our younger guy was just a baby. It’s been such a relief having someone we can trust that the boys are excited to see.
Whether it’s for a full afternoon or just a night out, she’s super helpful.
Millie’s also been a great communicator, which makes planning a lot easier for us.
