About Me
My name is Cara. I’m currently in my third year of medical school. I hope to graduate as doctor and then train further as a paediatrician.
When I’m not studying for my degree I enjoy singing, dancing, and spending time with my family and friends.
I am a hard worker! When given a task I am focused and driven to achieve the best possible results.
I have a passion for learning and would be great at inspiring children to find the same joy! I’d be more than happy to help with homework and teach young kids valuable skills in a fun and educational way.
My Experience
I grew up with parents who are foster carers, there were many other younger children around who I would help look after. I have always enjoyed being around children and communicating with them comes as second nature.
For the last 5 years I have been a leader at a local drama group where myself and two other members of staff are responsible for 20 children rehearsing plays and putting on performances.
I have also volunteered for the last 6 years at the children’s hospital in Glasgow as a helper for the inpatient children’s Christmas parties. I did face painting and fun Christmas activities as part of this.
My Qualifications
Disclosure Scotland Scheme Certification
PVG Check (through medical school)
St John’s Ambulance First Aid Training
Paediatric First Aid Training (through medical school)
A grades in all high school qualifications (would be happy to help with homework)
My Availability
I am available at the weekend all day and in the evenings throughout the week for babysitting and childcare duties.
