I am a warm, reliable nanny with a genuine love for working with children and families. With over a decade of experience across medical, care, and childcare settings, supported by a degree and a Master's in research, safety, structure, and clear communication sit at the heart of everything I do.
Before moving into childcare full time, I played rugby at Premiership and Championship level. Sport gave me a deep appreciation for teamwork, positive routines, and building confidence, values I bring into my work with children every day. I love encouraging active play, healthy habits, and a sense of fun in ways that suit each individual child.
I am a qualified Mental Health First Aider and fully first aid trained. I have extensive experience supporting children and adults with learning disabilities, including autism, and I am comfortable adapting routines and communication styles to suit each child's needs. I hold an enhanced DBS check, have my own car, and hold a clean driving licence, making school runs, clubs, and activities straightforward.
I also have a Frenchie called Bear, who is an absolute sweetheart. Families who enjoy having a dog around will find him a lovely bonus!

What I Am Looking For
I am seeking a live-out after school or wraparound care role, ideally starting from August 2026. I am looking for a position where I can commit long term and become a trusted, consistent presence in a child's routine. I am comfortable covering morning drop-offs, afternoon collections, after school care, and early evenings as needed.
My Experience
I am currently completing over three and a half years of continuous service with the same family, supporting two children now aged 8 and 11. The eldest child is autistic, and I have developed a confident, considered approach to providing calm, structured, and consistent support tailored to their individual needs.
My day-to-day responsibilities include full morning routines, school drop-offs and collections, homework support, activity and club coordination, and managing after-school routines through to meals and end-of-day preparation. I also provide evening and weekend babysitting, and have covered full weekend care when parents have travelled, ensuring complete continuity and stability for both children.
I work closely and openly with parents, prioritising honest communication and a collaborative approach. I am confident working independently and taking full responsibility for the children in my care.
