About Me
My wife Kerrie and I are a friendly, down-to-earth couple looking for a caring and reliable childminder for our baby, Cooper. As parents, we’re keen to find a safe, nurturing environment where Cooper can feel happy, supported, and encouraged to grow. We’re a close-knit family and also have a gentle dog called Ozzy, who is very much part of our daily life. We’re open, approachable, and looking to build a positive, trusting relationship with the right childminder.
My Requirements
Our child will be one year old when starting in September 2026. We are looking for a childminder to provide two days of childcare per week on a flexible basis between Monday and Thursday. Due to my wife Kerrie working a shift pattern, we’re unable to commit to fixed days each week; however, it would always be two days. Kerrie receives her work schedule at least a month in advance, so we would be able to give plenty of notice. We are also looking for a childminder who is able to accept the 30-hour government childcare funding and be paid via the 20% government-funded allowance. Above all, we’re simply looking for someone kind and nurturing who will love Cooper, help him explore the world around him, and support his early development in a safe, happy environment.
