About Me
I am a 58 year old Australian woman and have lived in London for the past 12 years. I have a good sense of humour and enjoy pilates, walking my dog, going to the theatre/ movies and having dinner/ coffee with friends. I also love travelling and reading. I keep fit and healthy and enjoy a calm and kind approach in life.
My last role was at Whitgift School in the Admissions department. 2017-2024
I have been fortunate and have had the opportunity to live in Melbourne, Singapore, Sydney, Milan and London, travelling through work relocations. Throughout my career, I have worked full time, part time and also enjoyed periods as a stay at home mother.
I have two adult children 25 and 23, both of whom live in London.
I am looking for part time work.
My Experience
Raising my own children is my experience. My son attended Oxford University and read English and my daughter attended Edinburgh University and studied Psychology. As a mother I would spend many hours enjoying outdoor activiites with the children and also enjoyed reading every day and helping with homework. Both children participated in many afterschool activiities, including sport and music and attending playdates.
My Qualifications
I completed the Australian equivalent of A Levels.
I have completed many first aid courses through work.
My Availability
As I have retired from mainstream work, I am very flexible and can offer a permanent partime carers role or last minute babysitting, including overnight and weekends. I have a 15 year old Jack Russell so do need to factor in his walks, however, can do so while pushing a pram and/ or with children by my side. Overnight babysitting is possible when I can arrange dog sitting.
