My Requirements

I am looking for a full-time, live-in nanny to care for my 7-year-old daughter in Notting Hill. This is a sole-charge, permanent position, and I am particularly looking for someone who wants to make a genuine long-term commitment to our family — ideally for five years or more.

My daughter has ASD and ADHD, so I need someone exceptionally calm, patient and consistent. Previous SEN experience would be wonderful, but the right personality and approach are more important to me than formal qualifications. You must be willing to work alongside her OT/SEN team, follow their strategies and undertake additional training where helpful, which we will fund.

I am looking for someone energetic and fun who genuinely enjoys active and outdoor play, creative activities, music, learning and getting involved in a child’s interests. An important part of the role will be helping her develop emotional regulation, independence and good habits, while encouraging plenty of engaging non-screen activities.

Her schedule is shared between two households and changes from week to week, so flexibility is essential. During school holidays we generally alternate weeks. Your salary remains fully guaranteed regardless of whether she is with us, and when she is away your downtime is genuinely protected.

You will take responsibility for organising her schedule across school, clubs and therapy appointments and liaise with her father’s nanny, so you must be highly organised, reliable and an excellent communicator.

We are also getting a puppy, so you must genuinely enjoy being around dogs. We have a near full-time housekeeper plus a dog walker/trainer, so this is not a nanny/housekeeper role.

The position offers £48,000–£55,000 gross per annum, depending on experience, plus private live-in accommodation comprising your own bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette, with bills and food included. We also offer 6 weeks’ paid holiday, funded training, structured salary progression and long-term retention bonuses.

I am looking for someone with an enhanced DBS, paediatric first aid and excellent checkable references. A full driving licence is preferred and Ofsted registration is desirable.

Start: Immediate or September 2026

Salary: £48,000–£55,000 gross per annum + accommodation

Most importantly, I want someone who will build a strong, secure relationship with my daughter and who can see themselves becoming an important part of her life as she grows.
