Hi my name is Maddie, I’m 18 years old, and I’m really excited about the possibility of supporting your family. I’m an adventurous person who loves trying new things, meeting new people, and exploring new places, and I have always enjoyed spending time with children, therefore I’m looking forward to creating a positive, supportive, and fun environment for them. I am currently in my last year of A-Levels studying Early Childhood Development, Health and social care and Sociology.
My Experience
I have hands-on experience working in a nursery as well as babysitting for families, which has helped me develop confidence in caring for children of different ages. I enjoy creating a warm, fun, and supportive environment, whether that’s through reading stories, doing arts and crafts, or planning small activities that keep children engaged and happy. I’m also patient, responsible, and comfortable managing routines like mealtimes, playtime, and bedtime.
My Qualifications
I've worked part time in a day nursery and have had hands on experience with supporting and caring for children aged 7 months to 4 years. In 2025 I completed work placement in a primary school, working with children in years 1 and 2; where I engaged in lessons, play and supporting them throughout their learning. I have also completed a Level 2 in Food Hygiene and Safety for Early Years (Smart Horizons certificate).
My Availability
As I am still at school I have availability after 3:30pm during the week, however during school holidays I’m available whenever.
