About Me

Dear Family,
I am an experienced and qualified Primary School Teacher returning to childcare after focusing on raising my own children. I bring a strong background in early years and primary education, along with hands-on nanny and nursery experience.
From 2000 to 2005, I worked as a Nursery Nurse at a community day nursery in Wapping. During this time, I also worked as an au pair for private families, providing full-day sole charge care for children of various ages (1999–2005).
More recently, between September 2017 and October 2019, I worked as a Supply Teaching Assistant and Supply Teacher through agencies including Reed and Bumblebee, covering roles from baby room assistant to primary school teaching support.
Now that my children are older, I am available for weekend and evening nannying or babysitting roles. I genuinely enjoy working with children and would love to support busy families with weekend activities, homework assistance, exam preparation (including 11+), and light meal preparation.
As a mother of two — a 20-year-old son at university and an 11-year-old daughter in secondary school — I understand the demands of family life. I am confident caring for babies (supporting feeding and nap routines), as well as engaging older children in creative play, reading, outdoor activities, crafts, and age-appropriate learning.
In my current role as a Property Manager, I have developed strong organisational, time-management, and health and safety skills, all of which are highly transferable to childcare.
I hold a full UK driving licence, have my own transport, and am comfortable around pets. I am available throughout the weekend and would be delighted to discuss how I can support your family.
